Phew! I just got back from seeing Nine-Fingered Frodo and the Ring of Doom Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II.

Wow. This sucker is an action movie. You want exposition? See Part I. There’s barely a quiet moment in this film.

I enjoyed it immensely. It helped that I re-read the book a few weeks ago in preparation for seeing it, because there’s none of this “When we last saw Harry and the gang they were . . .” Nope. The movie just jumped right in with Harry bargaining with Griphook the goblin to gain access into Gringotts the wizard bank.

I still have to see Deathly Hallows Part I, which I have on DVD but haven’t found time to watch yet. Part II is an excellent ending to the series.
