Republicans have looked at their current choices for the Presidential nomination for the 2012 race and been less than impressed. How else are we to interpret their desire that Paul Ryan enter the race?
Paul Ryan! The guy who authored the “We must destroy Medicare” bill!
Last week the WSJ editorial pages called for a white knight to save the Republicans from themselves (see Steve Kornacki’s Salon post). Today Ryan said once again that he isn’t going to run.
Who’s next? Sarah Palin?
