DOMA argument roundup

Once again, SCOTUSBlog has one of the most comprehensive sets of links I’ve seen to discussion of today’s events at the Supreme Court. From all I’ve heard, no one would be surprised if the Defense of Marriage Act is ruled unconstitutional, either on states’ rights grounds (Kennedy) or on equal protection grounds (Kagan, Sotomayor, Ginzburg, Breyer).

The best comment I’ve seen or heard today came from a reader at the NY Times: “This Supreme Court decided corporations are people. I’m hopeful they’ll see homosexuals as people, too.”
