Out of curiosity I went to my library’s website to see what the wait time would be if I wanted to request “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1”. Bear in mind that movie was released in November of 2010, seven months ago.
There are 270 library patrons waiting in line to check it out.
And the DVD on Amazon costs how much?
Heh. That was my thought too. On Saturday it was $15. Today it’s $9.99.
Oh. Plus shipping of $7.98. Oh well, $17.97 is still a pretty good price, particularly since I would have spent that much at a theater once you add in the soda and giant popcorn bucket. I ordered it.
Ugh. Don’t any retailers out your way have it? Well, too late now…
It’s $3 more at Borders, which is a mile down the hill.
