Deathly Hallows Part 2 opens July 15. Is anyone excited yet?

Back in July of ’09 I commented that I’d seen no buzz about “Half-Blood Prince” when it was about to open. Since then “Deathly Hallows Part 1” has come and gone, and I don’t recall seeing any chatter about that movie at all.

When the first four or five books and films were released people were attending midnight openings, picking up their copies of the books at midnight book store parties and otherwise jumping with anticipation. Has the thrill gone?
