Our water bill shows a daily usage chart for the month being billed along with historical data, and for the past two months our total gallons used have been declining. I thought that was odd, so I looked at the controller box for our automatic sprinkler system. Sure enough, there was an error message showing in the display, and it didn’t work when I reset it.

I called the sprinkler guy and he came out today to investigate and repair it. In the process of checking all the sprinkler heads we noticed that someone had left one of these

and its exhaust pipe in our parking strip on the side of the road.

Who the hell does that?
