With all due respect to my friends and readers who live in Iowa, I’m really really tired of hearing about your stupid caucuses and the chase for voters there by a bunch of Republican candidates, none of whom should be allowed out without adult supervision.

Has it come down to this group of people, really? The Republican party used to think of itself as the responsible “Daddy” party. If any one of Paul, Gingrich, Santorum, Romney, or Perry claimed to be my father I’d throw myself on the mercy of the court and ask to be declared an orphan.
