The other day our local paper published an AP piece on the benefits of replacing incandescents with fluorescents, complete with a graphic showing the ROI on the fluorescent – assuming an initial investment of $4.62 on the bulb. Um, what? I can get a 6-pack of 23 watt fluorescents for about $6. Turns out the infographic is from 2006.
Letter to the Editor time. That’s journalistic malpractice.
