I knew the last three. I had to read 3 and 4 in high school, and didn’t like them. Kidnapped, though, was my favorite book for years, from junior high almost through college. I have no idea why, but I still have most of it by heart.

I only got Pip and Jean Valjean, although David Balfour sounded familiar (but I don’t think I ever read Kidnapped, I must have read about it). I’ve actually read Riders of the Purple Sage, but Zane Grey’s books are so alike that you can’t possibly remember the hero of one of them. (And I have read many.)
