Here’s a bit of unsolicited advice: Legislation passed with 51 votes out of 100 is called majority rule. Stop using the word reconciliation. Reconciliation is not as easily comprehended and your opponents are trying to make it into a bad word.
In the minds of the average busy citizen:
Majority rule = good.
Reconciliation = I don’t know what that means.

I’m getting so sick of the democrat’s playing nice. It feels a lot like the we’re the republican cat toy. And if the dems can just stop freaking out about losing their super majority and get on the stick with health care reform, they might actually get the job done.
