Away with you, “cold air mass!”
Winds in the 30mph range, nights in the low 60s (yeah, yeah, but this is the damned tropics!), four blankets . . .
When will it end?

Oh, poor baby!
It’s 15 degrees here, 3 degrees if you include windchill. My sympathies are limited.
I know, I know, but my blood’s been thinned from living here for 30 years. I can’t take it!
May I send you an electric blanket?
Tks, Karan, but I’ve tried those and don’t like ’em much. The coils, the coils!
Nights in the low 60’s….you’re killin’ me! 😉
Every January and February, I try to think of reasons that I’m not living in Hawaii, and can never think of any. This year, I’m wondering that into March. (And more seriously, what with the economic meltdown.)
We’re not immune from it, Juli.
A little late with this but I just discovered your blog, so I hope you read it. Check Land’s End.com website. They have a summer weight goose down comforter that works quite well here as a winter blanket. I will admit, however, that we do have to add one of my mom’s crocheted afghans when the weather turns as chilly as it’s been lately. I’d add a link for it but having trouble getting it onto the comment page. (sigh) Oh well, try looking for it under Summer Weight Solid Down Comforter. Believe me, it’s worth it.
