Halloween Blues

Got the Snickers, got the Three Musketeers, got the 40-year-old cardboard witch and skeleton, got the plastic pumpkin light…
If this year’s like the past five or six, we’ll have a dozen kids show up, and 1/3 of them will be 16-18 years old.

  1. Got Snickers (too), Kit Kat, M & Ms, Reese cups; we’re hoarding it all and sitting in the basement watching back-to-back episodes of _Medium_.

    Happy Hallowe’en!

  2. My friend’s son went trick or treating – and his son is 14 I believe.
Now that I think of it, I don’t think I went trick or treating at that age.
But actually, I think it’s kinda cute really.
My other friend took her sons trick or treating – they’re 6 & 7… But she lives in the city, so she took them to a residential neighborhood of a family member to go trick or treating.
I wish I lived in a neighborhood w/ trick or treaters. (But I live in a 3rd Floor apartment in the city, so I don’t get them at all.)
I did see some trick or treaters in the town which is just a few blocks from where I live.
I took a photo of a cleverly costumed young man:

I’m not sure how old the kids were. I’m really bad with guessing ages of kids.
