  1. I thought it was great. I simultaneously thought it raised lots of new questions, and revealed too much. Episode three is supposed to bring the real payoff of the first leg of Season 2.
I’ve GOT to start that all “Lost’ podcast…

  2. I am still wondering about the show’s central premise: things appear to happen on the island that defy common sense.
Why? Are they imagined? Is there a different reality? Is there a rational explanation?
I enjoyed this episode, and and counting hours until the next installment.

  3. You know, people seem to be really angry at the opener. I’m not sure I understand why. This is one of those shows that answers questions while asking new ones, and this week we learned what’s in the hatch. That, of course, raises all sorts of questions.
    I liked it.

  4. Say, Scott, where are you finding the anger? I’ve picked up elsewhere that some people didn’t like the opener, but I wouldn’t characterize the overall sense I got as anything but positive.

  5. Jinkies! I was out with some friends tonight and a few of them started talking about “Lost”… And then I come home, and every blog I look at mentions it.

  6. Vincent?!? Creepy?!? Although if he’s a shape-shifter, maybe he’s the polar bear…hmm. Have he and the bear been on screen at the same time? Sounds like a job for the “Lost” Wiki!
