Today I’ve seen a lot of people remembering Madrid and 9/11. I wish everyone would remember Bali, too.

Good point. I think if the bombing had actually happened in Australia, it would be more prominent in our sympathies — the horror of being attacked at home vs. abroad.
Well, yeah, but there were a heckuva lot of Balinese hotel workers who got killed that October.
