I’m delighted that the hybrids are selling well; it shows Americans will jump at alternative energy if offered a reasonable option. According to a friend who’s car shopping, there’s a five to six month waiting list for a new Toyota Prius here in Pittsburgh, the least ecologically-minded place I’ve ever lived.
