Apparently I haven’t had enough of Harry Potter this week; I’m off to see “Order of the Phoenix.”
Update: I liked it fine, but I’m in the “too short!” category. It needed another ten minutes to fill in details, I thought. And I never thought I’d say this, but I think it needed a little more CGI to show the statuary in the Ministry’s Hall exploding during the final battle.
Oh! Enjoy!
V. V. Good.
We liked it! We’re going to visit the Simpsons tomorrow!
Definitely could have been a bit longer, good as it was. I’d have enjoyed a little more Lupin and Tonks and if it was revealed that Umbridge sent the Dementors after Harry, I missed it.
And there should have been the payoff to the scene of Harry’s father tormenting young Snape. Maybe they’ll put out an expanded edition on DVD.
Lance, I thought that scene was way too short, particularly in light of how important it was in explaining Snape’s future behavior toward Harry.
I was just thinking that each director must have been begging Rowling for hints as to what was going to happen so he’d know what to foreshadow.
