Back in March I mentioned the passenger-side air bag sensor had come on on the Mini. It corrected itself a few days later and I thought no more of it. Well, it reappeared about a week ago and it hasn’t gone off. I just called Mini of Honolulu and got a tentative quote to repair it.

Roughly $1,500.

Apparently they have to take the entire seat out, replace the sensor, and re-program the car. Ouch!
