The Mini is in the shop waiting for the mechanics to determine how to fix the passenger airbag sensor alarm. Will it be the $1,400 charge to remove the seat altogether and replace the sensor? Will it be something simpler? Stay tuned!

Oh, and it’s due for its 60,000 mile checkup, which includes a full transmission flush among other things. That is also priced at $1,400. I told ’em I’d pass on that till I know what the airbag problem will cost.
