Shower walls

We decided on Mexican Sand cultured marble for the tub enclosure walls:

And now we need a shower curtain. The old tub had sliding glass doors but they were in pretty poor shape, and it’s certainly simpler to put up a shower rod than to attach dual tracks to the outside rim of a bathtub. The counters are a light marble color and the walls will be a textured peach. We’re thinking brown vertical stripes. What do you think?

  1. I have some plain, washable off-white nylon shower curtains that I’ve used for years. Washable as in put them in the washing machine. Suggest looking for something like this. You don’t need more pattern.

  2. I use plain colorless plastic shower curtains in an abstract prismatic pattern that refracts light a little. Bed Bath & Beyond carries them reliably. We have Mexican sand sink/tub/etc. – great minds must think alike.
