I have some pictures of my cats with just their tail sticking out from under the bed… where I wondered if they thought they were hidden.
But this more makes me think maybe it was about seeking darkness. I suppose it would be difficult for a dog to pull a pillow overhead to block out the light. ha ha
Abby hunts up holes to curl up in. Not for her the “I’m in the middle of the floor, just walk around me” pose. Nope, she finds small spaces and stays there.
