It’s a home game for SDSU; it’s played in the same stadium (Qualcomm) in which the school plays all its home games. On the other hand, BYU’s defense is very good, allowing only 14 pts per game (for reference, #1 Alabama allows 10 pts per game). It’s also a renewal of a longtime matchup; both teams were in the old Western Athletic Conference and then in the Mountain West Conference until BYU became an independent in 2011. They’ve played each other a lot. The last time they played the Cougars won 24-21 in 2010, taking a 27-7-1 lead in the all-time series; BYU has also won 9 of the last 10 games between the two schools.
