I think I’ll wash while watching

This has to be a good omen. The Yankees left the bases loaded and got no runs in the first inning of Game One of the LCS this evening.

Update: My goodness, they did it twice more in the first six innings. Fister pitched a whale of a game, and then Valverde blew it for him in the ninth. Fortunately for all concerned, the Tigers came back and won it in the twelfth.

  1. as much as i love to root against the yankees, some of the fun went out with jeter’s broken ankle. it may be that only kobe bryant could make me say an injury was an okay way for a hated team to lose and i “fear” i am too old even for that 🙂
