I’m still fighting with the plumeria deck spotting problem. I diluted a couple of ounces of Simple Green with about 24 ounces of water and scrubbed away, and it didn’t do much good. I’m now testing full-bore undiluted SG in an out-of-the-way part of the deck. I wet the area, sprayed the cleaner on, let it stand for five or ten minutes, and rinsed it off. We’ll see if that works.
I should say the spotting is not covering the entire deck, just a 4-foot-square area directly beneath the tree, so it could be worse. It’s driving us crazy, though. Our brand-new deck’s looks are already slightly diminished!
One word: chainsaw. Nah.
Seriously, can you trim the tree? Or move it?
We’re going to have to trim off the overhanging branches, I think. It’s going to be ugly if we do, though.
