Errands, errands

Phew. I went out into the heat of the day for one reason: to dump a sackful of prescription drugs at a designated collection site. Out here these drives happen every quarter, I think. I missed it last time, so I had a bunch of old unused pills and capsules lying around. This is what comes of doctors trying different drugs or adjusting dosages.

The collection site I used was at the Navy Exchange Mall at Pearl Harbor, so I went down the street and bought gas ($4.32/gallon for regular unleaded) and then went into the commissary at the mall to get milk.

I also stopped at the library to turn in a book and pick up a movie for Mom to watch tonight. I got The Jane Austen Book Club. It’s always a struggle remembering what we haven’t already borrowed and/or rented from Blockbuster or RedBox, so I tend to get older movies if I haven’t reserved a brand new one from one of the kiosk places.

Time to crash on the sofa and watch the Dodgers game, I think.
