Wild Cards

Who’d a thunk the Houston Texans, in their first playoff game ever, would defeat the Cincinnati Bengals fairly handily, 31-10? Certainly not me. The Texans are playing with a third-string quarterback (the first two guys went down with injuries mid-season), while the Bengals new QB has been praised all year for his seemingly instant development.

Goes to show what you can do with a good running game, at least through one round. Now they get to play the Baltimore Ravens next weekend.

In the second game the Detroit Lions have taken an early 7-0 lead over the New Orleans Saints. I don’t expect that to last.
