Well now. His financial disclosure forms show he was paid $360,000 in speaking fees from various companies, most finance-related. Ladies and gents, I submit that $360K is emphatically not “not very much,” unless your net worth is between $190M – $250M as Romney’s is.

You know what might even be worse? If his standard speech to these companies resembled his basic stump speech. If that’s the case, I’d say these were just campaign donations by a different name. The judgment of the companies’ entertainment committees should be questioned if they really expected their employees to get anything useful from a talk by Mittens.
