Why, HHS Secretary Sibelius, why?

Continuing to restrict the sale of the Plan B pill to women 17 and above flies in the face of not only the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research group’s recommendation but also in the face of common sense. Madame Secretary, are you seriously suggesting that 16-year-olds have no need of this pill? Or are you worried that by making it available over-the-counter they’ll engage in sex, as though they don’t now do so?

I expected and got this kind of foolishness from the previous Administration. I certainly didn’t expect it from this one.
