Fruitcake has gotten a bad rap. I thought I’d make some in the bread machine to see how it tastes when it’s fresh. Very good indeed.

I agree. Pop a slice of fruitcake in the microwave to warm it just a bit, add a scoop of eggnog ice cream, and dig in!!
