Black Friday, pah!

Much the more important aspect of the day after Thanksgiving is the first turkey sandwich of the holiday season. White bread (the only good non-toast use of the commercial variety), lettuce, turkey, mayo (Hellmanns/Best Foods only), butter/margarine, salt and pepper. Add a few potato chips.

Bliss.

  1. Well, Dear Hubby would suggest that you add a little cranberry sauce between the lettuce and the turkey to make the taste sensation complete.

And how about the Sweet Potato Bread? Did you make some for Thanksgiving and, if so, did it win approval from everyone? Inquiring minds want to know. 🙂

  2. Mom adds the cranberry sauce to her sandwiches. I like it in a bowl on the side.

I made the bread and cut six slices off, and they all disappeared, but nobody mentioned them. I’m afraid they got lost in the entire scope of the meal. 😉
