Republican anti-Government Spending division, I mean.

As Fred Clark says: “When the free market gives you free money, take it”

He shows a table which indicates that right now the bond market is offering to pay the US Treasury for the privilege of lending money to it. But because the Republican Party has persuaded the Obama Administration that the only money it can spend must be paid for, the Administration sees itself as hamstrung.

This despite enormous infrastructure needs which cry out for cash to be spent repairing them, like the electrical grid, as San Diegans would happily tell you. Or the bridge into Louisville which was just closed due to cracks in its structure.

The politics in this country stink.
