There’s plenty to deplore about college football these days, but most of it happens off the field. If you’re interested in what’s happening on the field, you can find out quite a bit by perusing FanBlogs. Originally a collective blog with volunteer contributions from fans around the country, it was purchased in 2006 by Rivals.com, one of the biggest college sports news sites around. A year later Rivals itself was acquired by Yahoo; so far Yahoo hasn’t screwed it up.
Anyway, if you (somehow) can’t get enough of your school’s coverage, you might try Fanblogs.
