In light of the news that Borders Books may declare bankruptcy as early as this week and close 200 or more of its stores, I guess I’d better go use the gift card I was given for Christmas this afternoon.

I’d prefer an independent bookstore at the mall at the bottom of my hill to a Borders, but I’d prefer Borders over nothing at all, which might be what I’ll have next week.
