Dem Congresswoman shot in Tucson

Given Arizona’s poisonous political atmosphere this shouldn’t surprise anyone: Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords shot in Tucson. Apparently she was holding a “Corner Event,” a regularly-scheduled meeting in which she goes to local shopping centers to meet her constituents.
