Among them, that it is an important moral issue and the “pro-life base will be excited,” and that it is a “great political issue — this is a tough issue for Democrats.”
Ah, yes. Once again the Republicans show great human concern for Terry Schiavo, her parents, and her husband. Charming.

Nobody disputes its existence, nor that it was circulated on the floor. Frankly, I don’t think the Democrats are nasty enough to think of it (if that’s what you’re implying).
