Goodness me. The Pepys Project is very near to tipping the scales at 3,000 blogs. See, obesity is not limited to Americans! Quoting the proprietor:
The Pepys Project – still the smallest, most lame looking, lovingly maintained index of blogs on the internet – is approaching the big Three-Oh.
Oh-Oh.
3000 entries are a mere 43 submissions away, and I don’t know what I’ll do but I’ll do something ultraspiffilicious* for the person who submits site #3000.
If you ain’t listed yet, you’re not truly a hit-hunter, and risk being drummed out of the blogosphere (anyone remember Branded?). So go over to The Pepys Project and sign up!
Is that the correct URL? It gives me an error in both links.
Ditto. Are Scott and I such losers that we aren’t even allowed to peek to see that we aren’t listed?
Hmm. I copied it off Mike’s e-mail. The button on the right sidebar doesn’t have the “www” and it works. I’ll go fix and try again.
Thanks, guys.
Seems to work now, gents. Thanks for the tip.
Dammit, now I have the Branded theme in my head. And I never watched the show, just know the theme song somehow…
Anytime I see a reference to a show Chuck Connors was in I remember that he was a first-baseman in the Brooklyn Dodgers farm system in the 1950s. Obviously he thought better of baseball; he wasn’t gonna take Gil Hodges’ place. đ
I can’t think of ‘Branded’ without thinking of the references to it in ‘The Big Lebowski.’ đ
