    but why does “foghat” define rock and roll. wouldn’t zeppelin be better in that capacity?

  4. It is, of course, Rock N’Roll. Nowhere on the album, not even in the liner notes, is the pun mentioned or indicated. I bought the LP back when it first came out in 1973 (2nd album by the group), and I will confess it took a few days to get the point, like most of you. It really is good rock, along the lines of Free and Bad Company.
