If the Royals win they move on to the World Series against the Mets; if the Jays win they force a Game Seven tomorrow.
Blue Jays at Royals, 5:00PM PT, TV: FS1
The Jays ask David Price to win the most critical game yet in a week of them; in Game Two he was very good until the seventh inning when the wheels came off. The Royals counter with Yordano Ventura, who started Game Two against Price and gave up three runs in 5 1/3 innings and didn’t figure into the decision.
That was some crazy pitching by Davis in the ninth. Definitely got a favourable strike call on strike 2 to Revere but beyond that he really shut the door.
Seemed to be getting the high and outside call from the plate ump.
Go Royals.
You and Harper both hate Canada, then?
Worse thing about rain delay is having to listen to Alex and Pete.
Now they bring in Davis. Problem is the rain could come and prevent Davis from pitching the ninth as well. Advantage Boo Jays.
Who’s Harper rooting for?
The Flames and Stampeders.
But not for Canada.
Joey Bats again!
Martin still thinks he is a 3rd baseman.
Jays 0-8 with RISP. This seems oddly familiar, somehow.
They can score without runners in scoring position, though.
Joey Bats gets one back for the Jays.
Price is not pitching in an ace-like fashion through the first two innings.
His gopher ball appears to be working.

That family is beyond weird.
Lead off a must-win game with a double and fail to score. Not a good omen for the Jays.
Even less so, your ace surrendering a dinger in the bottom of the inning.
A Scottish friend of mine who lives in Kingston, Ontario – about 165 miles east of Toronto – reports that all the digital destination readouts on city buses now say “Go, Jays!”
