Nope, it’s exactly what I expect them to do. They are the party of no,unless it directly affects their wallets in a positive way.
And I just heard an NPR broadcast this AM saying that Congress’ response to “VA wait times are too long” was to mandate the outside doctor choice program (forget the exact name), and give the VA 90 days to set it up! Speaking as a former computer support person and systems geek, 90 days is barely time to develop a framework for the project and a basic design. This was a recipe for failure. Good old Congress.
