Beerboys stop Barves in the first, thanks largely to a 3-2 DP.
The White Sox reliever is Crochet. Seriously. Then he gave up the tying runs. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c5984af686298f4d557c95c19dfd61799185ef5eb713cc65611bd2e0eafb9c0d.png
Man, the Red Sox starters have been horrid. Sale, five runs in the first and gone. Yesterday Rodriguez gave up two runs in 1 2/3 .
Joc has just homered in a pinch, but Barves still trail Beerboys 2-1 in the eighth.
Houston is relentless.
Radio guy: “I know people wish Houston would go away. I get it. I know some people think they got cheated out of some things. I get it, I do. But Houston is not going away.”
“Think they got cheated?” Good thing I’m not in the same room with that dude.
If it came down to a Series between the Asterisks and the Gnats – Dog forbid! – I wouldn’t watch a single pitch.
In the fifth at Houston’s Juicebox, Chisox have taken the lead over the Asterisks. Having muted the sound, I’m not sure if any trash can lids are banging.
