Dodgers at Blue Jays, Time: 12:07 PM PDT, TV: SN1, SPNLA, SportsNet+
RHP Tyler Glasnow (4-1, 2.52 ERA) goes for the Dodgers and LHP Yusei Kikuchi (2-1, 2.28 ERA) goes for the Jays.
The Dodgers selected the contract of RHP Nabil Crismatt and optioned LHP Nick Ramirez. In order to make room for Crismatt on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers have transferred RHP Kyle Hurt to the 60-day injured list.

- 1981 Fernandomania continues to explode at Chavez Ravine when Dodger rookie sensation Fernando Valenzuela pitches his fourth shutout in five starts. The 20 year-old Mexican southpaw, who is batting over .400, beats the Giants, 5-0, and lowers his ERA to a microscopic 0.20.
- 2004 At Dodger Stadium, Mike Piazza ties Carlton Fisk for the most career homers by a catcher as he hits Hideo Nomo’s sixth-inning pitch into the stands for his 351st round-tripper as a backstop. The homer, which was his 362nd overall, moves the Mets’ star past Yankees’ Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio on the all-time list.
- 2007 On the night in which the ceremonial first pitch is thrown by his three sons, Trevor Hoffman is unable to hold on to a two run lead when the Dodgers score three in the ninth and eventually beat the Padres, 6-5. It’s ‘Trevor Time Desk Clock’ Night, and the usually reliable Padres closer blows the save, thanks to some shady defense, for the second consecutive game.
- 2010 The suddenly streaking Mets win their sixth consecutive game with a doubleheader sweep of the Dodgers, 4-0 and 10-5. The victories mark the first time since August 28, 1971 that the club has taken both ends of a twin bill from L.A.

Dodgers are comfortably in first, but have only fifth-best record in NL.

Ohtani seemed to flick that ball to the warning track.
Now they say Glasnow was suffering from “cramping,” whatever that might mean.
Yimi! An old friend! Signed with the Jays as a free agent in 2021 after stints with Miami and Houston.
Prior to today’s game, the Dodgers in their preceding five games (all victories)::
…Batted .351 (66 for 188)
…Outscored the Mets, Nationals and Blue Jays, 39-7
…Had a team ERA of 1.20
…Committed just one error
But they’ve doubled their error total today…
Ha!
In fact, they tripled their error total.
Late to the party- woo-HOO!!!
A fine effort all around. Everybody gets a hit. Glasnow was filthy. Bullpen shuts them down.
Yahoo!
Dodgers Win!!
Mookie is now hitting .391.
George Brett territory.
Also, Bob Lillis, as a rookie for the Dodgers in 1958 in 69 at bats. I don’t know how I remember that, except that I used to figure out statistics all the time.
I remember Lillis, at least in name.
Hefty hitting for Brett that year in also leading the league in SLG.
1980. I was really hoping he would hit .400. One heck of a ball player.
CT3’s average is presently Isle of Wight.
Traditionally a slow starter, though never this slow (March/April the worst OPS over his career).
Joe can still bring the heat.
Pretty good inning for El Mariachi.
He was rather subdued in the pen the other night in DC. Usually interacts a bit more with the fans.
Okay, Joe, bear down.
Who got injured?
Tyler was shaking his hand and grimacing.
Thanks.
Rumored blister.
Thanks..
Freddie having trouble keeping up with the Jones. His OPS+135 coming into today is respectable, but only ranked fifth among the regulars.
He’s doing better than Chipper and Andruw at the moment.
Tyler virtually unhittable today.
I can’t get over how dominant Glasnow is. If he can only stay healthy…
Wow! Nice pitch.
Have you followed the team to Canadia?
Nope. May try to do Pittsburgh in June and Philly as well in July.
I’m hoping to do both Dodger Stadium and The Litterbox, probably also Oakland though I hate to contribute even a penny to scumbags like Fisher.
Didn’t you already pay for the stadium?
Buying a ticket to attend a game there makes me cringe (though it’s still a better fan experience than SF’s Software Stadium, under the auspices of even more loathsome billionaires).
CTRBI!
Pagés keeps making his case.
I think Mookie may be enjoying having Shohei hit behind him. “Anything you can do I can do too.”
With some help from stupid defense by Varsho.
