Happy Canada Day!

Our neighbors to the north (well, the Mainland’s north) are celebrating the anniversary of the enactment of the Constitution Act in 1867, which joined Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada into one federation.

Here’s to them. They have a sensible health care system, a weird and wacky form of football, the Loonie, and a national anthem in a key most Canadians can sing in. What more does a country need?
