I got the radio presets done. I got the mirrors set so I can see out of them while sitting in the driver’s seat. I got the new car added to my auto insurance policy. I discovered that the registration is renewable in December, so I’m waiting to see if I get dunned for it or if the number of fees I paid above the price of the car itself included the upcoming registration. I doubt it.

The puzzle I still haven’t gotten answered is how vanity plates on the old car are handled. I’m going to have to walk in to the Satellite City Hall down the hill to ask, because the phone lines are always busy. I don’t want to give up my “Linky” plate , but I don’t know how the DMV deals with this situation. It’s certainly not an unusual circumstance.
