Training accidents kill too

You don’t have to be in combat to die when you’re in the military. Sadly, we got proof of that again today when a Marine MV-22 Osprey crashed at Bellows Air Force Station on the Windward side of Oahu. Reports so far indicate one Marine dead and twelve more hospitalized. The investigation is ongoing.

A 35-year anniversary

Monday, May 18, will be the 35th anniversary of the cataclysmic eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State. There will undoubtedly be lots of stories published remembering the events of that day.
