Greinke, Lohse and Peavy might appeal to the Dodgers, I think. What say you?
Sign Grienke, trade Ethier?
The Angels claim Greinke is a top priority.
Dodgers.com is full of it today, in a good way. Great report on Jansen–

Not sure what “compete” with Tony Gwynn means? You pretty much know what you are getting with him, great field, no hit, which is about as much as you might ask for from a 5th. If the concerns are Bison and Crawford recovering and you think that is a risk you would want somone else or carry a 6th. If that’s the route, Ned is probably thinking Victorino, no?
I dunno about Victorino, He’s a free agent, while Gwynn’s under contract for another year already. He’s certainly the less expensive option, and we know he can play defense.
That’s what I was trying to say, if you want a tradtional 5th, you just go with the cheaper Gwynn, but if you think there is a real risk regarding two of your starters, you need a 5th with a better bat than Gywnn or else carry a sixth. Or is Happy enough?
I thought Victorino made it clear he wouldn’t come back as a reserve. I think he goes and the Dodgers make do if/until Crawford is ready
I see we have offloaded some dead wood

try and get Kuroda back
Don’t like Lohse, willing to consider Greinke and Peavy.
