Glen Campbell could have given Clapton, Beck and Knopfler a run for their money as guitar gods back in the day. He was a session musician as early as 1960, he toured with the Beach Boys between 1964-1965, and he played with the ultimate session group The Wrecking Crew. He also used them as his backing band for several of his big hits.
