A pipeline which runs from Texas northeast to NYC sprung a leak in September and disrupted the flow of 1.3 million barrels of gasoline per day to drivers in the Southeast and possibly even further up the seaboard. That wasn’t enough, though. Part of the thing has now exploded in Alabama, several miles from the leak. The explosion killed one worker and injured five others.
Gee, maybe those Native Americans protesting the construction of one of these things in North Dakota on their land and under the Missouri River which gives them their drinking water are right.
