The bowl games this year have been extraordinarily uncompetitive. There were 41 scheduled. There have been 38 so far, and of those in only 11 has the winning team won by less than a touchdown. That had been my impression while watching parts of a few games and seeing the scores of others in the paper or on the TV crawl. I created a spreadsheet to prove my theory. I didn’t get fancy with formulas, but it worked to my satisfaction.
