Scotland Decides

And it decided to stay in the UK by a margin of 55% to 45%, 1,877,252 “No” votes to 1,512,688 “Yes” votes.

Prime Minister David Cameron made a bunch of promises to the Scots if they’d remain in the Union, and they’re not going to be forgotten by the No voters and their spokesmen.

With a vote that close both the UK Parliament and the Scottish one are going to have adjustments to make, and I suspect the Unionists in Northern Ireland and Welsh nationalists, if any there be, may be looking to changes which might be desired in their own relationships to the UK legislative body at Westminster.
