The only thing which surprised me about Trump calling Haiti and African nations “shitholes” was that he said it in front of people who have no reason to suck up to him. We’ve known he was a racist since the day he came down that escalator in 2015 and said about Mexicans ““They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists…”

We’ve known he’s sympathetic to white supremacists at least since they marched in Charlottesville and one of their number drove a car into the crowd of counterprotesters and killed a young woman:

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence, on many sides. On many sides.”

Wishing we could get more immigrants from Norway, of all places. I think the only reason he didn’t suggest that America would be better off as an Aryan nation is that he doesn’t know the word or can’t pronounce it if he does.

He’s a disgrace to the United States, and watching his defenders use all manner of weasel words (Jack Kingston, I’m thinking of you) disgusts me.
