Kindle Test

Before I went to the reunion in Northern Virginia I bought a Kindle Fire HD 6, which has a 6-inch display screen. I thought that would be big enough to read comfortably while on airplanes. It turns out I read all of Simon Winchester’s “A Crack in the Edge of the World: America and the Great California Earthquake of 1906” on two five-hour flights with no discomfort.

Well. Now comes David Weber’s latest opus in the Honor Harrington Honorverse: “Shadow of Victory”. It’s 883 pages long. We’ll see how reading that goes on the Kindle.
